For the first time in more than two years II Chapter 56 was finally able to hold an in-person luncheon!  We were graced with the presence of Consul General and Mrs Aoki.  Free style arrangements from members of Ikenobo, Ohara and Sogetsu schools, along with table centerpieces and floral favors, helped lift attendees' spirits.  Following a delicious lunch and a short business meeting we installed new officers for the 2022-2024 term.  Everyone expressed their gratitude for outgoing President Susan Hirate and her board members' efforts to learn Zoom and keep us all engaged throughout the pandemic.  New President Joyce Kaneshiro's energy and enthusiasm reflect everyone's hopes for a better future.  Installing officer, Pat Kubo, presented each member of the new board with a Leadership Kit to help them cope with many situations-- see our Facebook page for more information...
