One of our chapter's' educational projects is to reach out to Japanese language classes in several schools around Oahu.  Through a generous grant, funded by the Garden Club of Honolulu, Ikebana International was able to visit four schools during the 2015-2016 school year.  An ikebana demonstration and hands-on lessons were provided at each school.  These schools were Mililani High School, Waialua High School, Highlands Middle School, and McKinley High School. 

During the 2016-2017 school year, we will visit Castle High School, Farrington High School, Washington Intermediate & Iolani High School.
